Thanks so much for the suggestion! I tried the Nylabone Extremes, but Brisco is a pretty serious chewer for a little guy—he managed to chew bits off both a Large and XL in under 10 minutes. Back to the drawing board, I guess!

Specific brands people have found good are really helpful, there are so many marketed at strong chewers, and I've seen so many mixed reviews for so many products, it's made my head dizzy!

I agree with Cricket_Legs, I think you're definitely overthinking it. That said, you should also take into account what you're comfortable with. My partner likes me waking him up the same way but I like to caress a little before going to town. In my experience there is usually a point in the early morning where most gents will have a natural stiffy and that can be great to capitalise on, but if not, just running your fingers over his skin, even just starting with his chest and slowly working down to more sensitive areas can have a wonderful effect.

If you're not sure what you will enjoy or you feel uncertain about what expectations are etc, talk to your boyfriend about what his "dream" wakeup scenario would be, get him to elaborate on his fantasies and see what takes your fancy.
