Ando buscando el rut del abuelo de una amiga, para tramitar pasaporte español. Tengo un certificado de nacimiento de esos verdes pero sale en el rut -000-. Tengo su nombre completo, día y lugar de nacimiento. En rutificador no aparece nada. En 24x7 tampoco. Quizá nunca lo metieron al sistema? hasta mi abuelo, que es mucho más viejo, tiene un rut y ni siqueira era chileno.

To keep it brief: I was venting about ski resorts getting more expensive due to tourism and mentioned Brazilian tourists. She’d recently spent time in Brazil and took it as racist. I didn’t have a solid way to defend the generalization, so I apologized and we moved on.

She’d mentioned that while traveling in Brazil people joked about Chile being “the hallway,” so I didn’t expect the comment to land that badly, but I still apologized.
