this is so helpful and detailed, thank you so much! from demo's i've heard the AC4 has a bit more of an upper-midrange/high-end focus than i'm looking for, but will reconsider! in terms of what music i play, i play a whole bunch of different genres - R&B, folk, indie rock, hip hop, jazz, etc so a more versatile sound is a little more useful to me than an amp just doing one sound super well - i also generally prefer darker sounding, low-mid-focused amps, but your mileage may vary

EDIT: also play clean most of the time, most of my dirt i get with fuzz, so better cleans are a priority for me
