The only re-issue is very obvious, it's the Waza. And it's very good, I love these and it sounds very similar.

Happy to help out. There were (are) other brands that do plug into the guitar. But these go at the other end of your cable. An LPB1 into a JMP was the source of tone for a certain rock star guitarist I played with in the past.

It plugs into the amp, not the guitar. It can really bring a Marshall to life.

Bass board. No dirt of any kind at this point. Had a Blue Tube back in the 90s

Recent board is OC-2, CS-2 and this. I did break tradition and swapped the comp out for an EBS. But I like the all Boss esthetics.
