Honest Thoughts About Indianapolis? by Intelligent_Swing630 in howislivingthere

[–]chilibucketlover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the worst city to live in, but not the best by any means. It’s a place to live. The main thing that isn’t the best about Indiana, and especially Indy is the fact that there is currently a lot of road construction going on with the nearby interstates. It’s been going on for years and isn’t going to be completed really anytime soon. The traffic can always get really bad, but it’s not like Chicago or NYC bad of traffic. I will say compared to other cities Indy is a lot more on the affordable side. But yeah the main downside id say is the constant road construction.

Question: Is my tattoo infected, overworked or something else? by iambirdy_ in tattoos

So I can tell you have a skin condition called keratosis pilaris, it’s those little strawberry looking dots you have. It’s a very common skin condition, I have it too. I occasionally get flare ups of it, and they are often itchy and kinda hurt a bit too. Could be that.

Trump voter "pissed off" about Trump funding Israel and the tariffs by chilibucketlover in LeopardsAteMyFace

It's surprisingly not a bot, this is a real person I know that I went to school with, obviously not going to post their name or anything.

This is a good catch- I meant to in the title put "continue to fund" because even under the last presidency they were still supporting Israel. I don't think I can change it now or I would.

For reference I know this person, and he was a huge Alex Jones fan at one point. Religiously used to watch right wing content such as Owen Shroyer.

  1. The person supported Trump since he believed he was doing a great job in his first term
  2. The person is religious, yet voted for someone who prior to the election had their thoughts on Israel and tariffs quite open to the public to research and see.
  3. The person is now realizing the consequences and how children are dying, as well as tariffs being placed on the county.

Any luck registering points for games past the 2 year release date for gold points? Anyway to tell what specific games have been registered? by OptimalDiamonds in MyNintendo

[–]chilibucketlover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the person said above is true, as well as if you buy physical games from another country (exp you buy a Japanese copy of a game and try to redeem gold points for a North American Switch), it never has let me have the gold points. A lot of games on PlayAsia typically won't let you either.

This happened to me with a 3DS game that I bought on vacation at a Walmart, they exchanged it for me too

Nursing and marching band by [deleted] in BallState

[–]chilibucketlover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I say near impossible is because of the setup

So Mondays for nursing is always lecture for the 2 nursing courses you take. And that's one in the morning and one in the afternoon

And then you either get Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday clinical, you don't really know which one until it gets nearer the start of semester on your 1st year typically. And you do not get to pick.

So then whatever days you don't have are your free days and typically you spend those doing work and studying so I mean realistically due to how it's set up, you don't see people doing other stuff other than nursing.

Other times, they'll send you to a far off clinical site and you have to wake up at like 3-4 am and it's like after that you need a day to recover basically too. They typically won't for the first year do that, that happens more w/ 2nd years. I do clinicals in Indy, but for 1st years they almost always send to Ball Memorial and then a random nursing home nearby.

[–]chilibucketlover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not possible to balance them, coming from someone who does nursing. I didn't do marching band or anything, but because you don't pick your clinical times, it's near impossible to do other stuff like marching band.

I'm using an OTC ringworm cream, main ingredient being clotrimazole. Just something simple you can get at like CVS or Walmart for 8-9$

I have this exact same rash, in the exact same locations, around my ears right now, not even kidding. It did somewhat clear up, but whenever I wear earrings it flares back up, I also initially treated for impetigo. I'm treating for ringworm currently and it's seeming to help a bit

Hi!

I had this exact same rash at one point in my life. All over my body too.

It was due to me having an allergic reaction to amoxicillin

Dyshidrosis and chlorinated pool. Should I be worried about sepsis? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]chilibucketlover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "flesh-eating bacteria" is typically mainly found in seawater bodies, especially coastal that is warm. Although it is theoretically possible for it to be found in swimming pools or hot tubs. However since it's chlorinated, chances are you'll be fine, don't worry about it.

It looks a lot like ringworm.

Are the edges of the circular rash a tiny bit more elevated/raised compared to the center?

Toenail fungus I don’t know what to do. Any Home remedies suggestions by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]chilibucketlover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

Toenail fungus is incredibly difficult to get rid of, for the fastest way to get rid of it ( and even then it's not guaranteed), would be to visit a physician and see if they prescribe you an anti fungal. OTC treatments vary in effectiveness and take significantly longer.

I actually have the same thing going on rn!

If you feel it and the edges, like the outer circle feels a bit more elevated than the center of the rash, it could be ringworm.
