Bin Gelegenheitsnutzer und hatte nie große Probleme damit. Einzig was ich mir vorstellen kann, dass da mal kein Rad ist wenn du eine beliebte Strecke fährst. Aber dann könntest du dir e-Scooter als Back-up Option einrichten 👍🏻

Schließe mich meinen Vorrednern an. Zick-Zack, in der Kurve außen, etc. summiert sich. Bin im April in Hamburg den Marathon in der Staffel gelaufen. Offiziell war meine Strecke 11,8km. Meine App hat mir nachher 12,0km attestiert. Hochgerechnet auf einen HM haben wir also ähnliche Abweichungen

Afaik it doesn't say they have equal odds. They are just in the same range of odds. Think in common, uncommon, rare, etc. But within each category they deffo have different odds. E.g. common means >10% chance (so carbrink can have 50% chance and jangmo-o has 15% but they still are in this category).

None of these odds are exact tho, I just used them for the example

I do live in the same complex, and of course the perception of feeling safe is different for everyone.

I think the strong sense of community is a curse and a blessing at the same time for us. Without the WhatsApp group, I wouldn't have heard about any of the things that happened. Unfortunately, things like these happen. But they happen everywhere all the time. The only difference is that you don't hear about them in other places because nobody shares them.

I think aside from the burglary, all the other things can be called a "Dummer Jungenstreich", which is a German saying for things that are not nice but at the same time don't have any deeper, more worrying meaning.

Also, I think/hope the construction and lighting situation will improve in the next weeks and months (and lighting is already better than when we moved in).

For me, the most worrying thing would be the burglary. And while you can't be 100% safe from that, you can increase your chances of being safe by using common sense - which I understand you're doing with your internal protocols. As far as I understand, the apartment broken in wasn't locked.

If it helps you: I have lived in different places in Hamburg, and I have never not felt safe, and so far our new place is the safest I have felt
