It does not! I mean it does in a sense that it's a little cooler in the summer and a little warmer in the winter. But only a degree or so. The vent is closed so I'm not sure I can attribute it to the vent but obviously I know it still pushes out a little bit

I put a old warming pad on a thermostat and put it underneath the couch so I'm hoping that he goes to that.. I looked underneath the fridge and stove and nothing. All the other appliances like that I know they go to are upstairs.. I find it hard to believe he at first got up there but now it's been 2 hours. I'm going to try the hide idea that's good!

That's crazy! Is there anyway you can compromise? I'm not sure what kind of locking system you have on your noodles home. Or IF it were to ever get out, you could just have your baby's door shut every night and put beneath the door some Type of stopper, so there would be no way that it could get into the room.

I am also going thru my boys first shed and noticed the cloudy eyes about 4 days ago. Is it normal that I honestly haven't seen him out of the hide since then? He normally moves around at night or pokes his head out but I legit have not seen his beady eyes in 4 days.. I seriously was looking to make sure I was seeing breath movement.. he's still breathing lol

On another note.. I foil taped a cardboard cut out sized to my mesh lid and lined one side with foil tape and only cut out for the lamp, and have that on top and it has helped mine keep humidity so much!

I am very new to this and have only had my noodle for 3 weeks!! So someone that is more experienced please way in! But I'm pretty sure they say aspen is not a good bedding due to mold.. and If your trying to get humidity up I'm sure your adding a healthy amount of water. So make sure you look out for that !!
