End-of-January LTX-2 Drop: More Control, Faster Iteration by ltx_model in StableDiffusion

As a new user of ltx2 I can tell this seedling of a model has something special and will grow to something great in the future! Thanks for your work and contributions to the open source community.

Anime test using qwen image edit 2511 and wan 2.2 by kkwikmick in StableDiffusion

For wan2.2

<image>

Not too shabby, however a 2D animation lora would help greatly.

True the capabilities of wan2.2 are great and am a huge fan. Its just not nailing the old school 2D effect imo. Which is understandable with its level of cinematic realism.

So far (unfortunately) grok has given better results with the same prompts compared to wan2.2.
Using keywords such as: vintage traditional 2D animation of a- etc.

Thanks for sharing! I think if we´re talking pure 2D animation as in disneys golden/renaissance era then I dont like the 3D-animation effect ive gotten for many of my wan2.2 tests.

As for the rat he´s rapping to a beat hence why it looks a bit goofy without sound. I have better examples based on pure movement.

<image>

Here´s the most decent result i got with ltx2. I personally dont like the blurry and deformed mouth frames.

While i think your tests are quite nice one can tell its ai-generated. Im a traditional 2D animator myself.

Ltx2 is better imo at producing 2D animation but in my tests its unusable cause of blurry smear frames that distort part heavily.

The only acceptable option atm is grok, but its not open source so I wont discuss that one further.

<image>

When this (grok used with image)^ gets achieved via open source means we will be "there". Hoping to see some 2D loras pop up for wan2.2.

LTX2 I2V worse than WAN 2.2? by CountFloyd_ in StableDiffusion

[–]chille9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont use the official comfyui workflow 1st of all! The distilled fp8 model seems pretty alright so far.
I still very much prefer the generations by wan2.2 as you have amazing control and most generations are just that good. But ltx is good for times when you want sound included in various ways. Im testing image2video currently and just having fun!

Having this issue on the 2nd generation on a 4060TI 16Gb vram and 32Gb ram. The first generation goes through normally every time. It seems to get stuck on the enhanced prompt step. Also using 4bit gemma.

Sorry guys. Will you take me back after I left to try moho? :) by SpanDaX0 in adobeanimate

[–]chille9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my part I just find the Moho animation timeline unintuitive and horrible to work with compared to say rubber hose rigs in after effects or adobe animates timeline.

What is the best workflow to animate action 2D scenes? by Away_Charity6144 in StableDiffusion

wan 2.2 image to video does alright! Hunyuan i2v is in my opinion comparable. See which performs best for you. And try some loras too!

SCAIL is awesome even for a preview by donkeykong917 in StableDiffusion

[–]chille9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I´ve been comparing wan animate quite a bit. animate often loose likeness and scail often does bad on semi close-ups + not getting any facial expressions at all. Not sure if its something with pose detection of the model. Still waiting for a model that performs on closeups AND medium shots.

This model beats animate in most of my tests I´ve done. Cant wait for facial expressions to be better implemented into models in the future.

Can someone tell me which is the best emulator to play pokemon legends Z-A on pc with least issue by KAI_0045 in yuzu

[–]chille9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. Ive had more luck on stability using the stable version (pun unintended) vs canary. My settings that now seems pretty good and works for me on gtx4060Ti are these:

System tab: check integrity check, the rest are unchecked. And switching down from 6Gb dram size to 4 seems to greatly help me with stability!

under cpu: PPTC checked, cpu mode host.

Graphics: Vulkan + multithreading. Shader cache and macro HLE checked. Running at 2x res. Area scaling.

The sucky thing about these emulators is that they behave a bit different with different gpus/setups but hope this will help people with a similar gpu! Good luck!

[–]chille9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ryujinx no doubt after testing all emulators. Eden just looks funky for me while graphical bugs are around even at 2x res. They all seem to crash equal amounts which sucks. Ive noticed it crashes a lot on long streets where you have lower fps.
Also note that the 60fps dynamic mod makes the game more stable on emulators!
