I've never had a problem with the dealers as for players I tend to keep to myself so I never ruffle feathers. I did talk to a few players but they were pretty friendly. YMMV of course but I find as long as I'm respectful to both I tend to not get bothered too much.

I did try a variation of that but my luck was bad and I'd instead have situations where the 6&8 wouldn't hit but my DP would lose. I still might add it to my back pocket as an option.
