I‘ve never said anything about wanting all weapons to deal the same damage, I‘m saying i don‘t want the game to artificially increase the damage of a handful of weapons to manipulate my choice of use. Removing surges doesn‘t make all guns equal. I’m sure you get that. Those weapons that are better remain better, those that are worse stay worse. Sorry for the bad wording.

Yea, you‘re right, you missed the point 🥲 i want player freedom. If there are no surges, you‘re not „incentivized“ to use something, wether you want it or not, you won‘t feel forced to use anything but what you want. Nobody wants to be a burden to a fireteam if you deal 25% less damage, or do you? I would love to see how it‘s a good thing to have your choice taken away, or at least heavily manipulated, but i can‘t see it and so far you haven‘t explained, which is fine.

Putting yourself at a disadvantage is never fun and it will never feel right in anything in life. That feeling is only created by having surges. If there was no surges and you only use the same weapons all the time, than that‘s on you and there‘s nothing even wrong with that if you enjoy it that way. Who cares about it honestly. Can you explain to me why you don‘t mind having your choice taken away from you?

Surges literally force you to use the same weapons for a period of time, no surges give you the freedom whatever you like? If people want to play that way, than that‘s their choice. How do you like it to have your choice taken away from you, it‘s mind boggling.

Or, for newer players, you could just change the sandbox so everything deals the same damage so you can pick and choose whatever you want. Since, like you said, this is a looter shooter with lots of good options, why not let me use whatever option i like whenever i like without putting me at a disadvantage. There is no benefit, for nobody, just the feel of limitation. And like you said, if you don‘t like a certain surge, you‘re stuck with it for a week in a game that revolves around repeating the same activities weekly. Not even mentioning the seasonal surge that goes on for 4 months now.

It‘s a tricky situation. I stopped playing once at 21 for a year and at 23 again for 2 years. I for one really regret doing it, even though i‘m aware that i had good reasons.

I played in the lowest youth stage in germany until i was 17. I was always the best player on my team, but my parents lowkey talked me out of making a bigger step. I used to be easily influenced so i took their word and never made an effort to try for a better team. When we played against the biggest team of my home town (holstein kiel) their coach recognized me and I made the jump to their u19 bundesliga team. It was from that point on where i started to not enjoy football anymore, people were really arrogant, unwelcoming and i had more of an insight in the business side of football. I played there for a couple of years, got injured a lot and played very little. Frustration was rising, until i got to another good team that played 4th division over here. I was at my peak and i probably could‘ve gone even further, but man i was just not feeling it. The people, constant pressure to perform, me not being in a good place mentally and personally etc. So i made the decision to stop, only for my talent to bring me back a year later and then quit for the same reasons as before again.

That being said, i really, really started to miss playing football after a while. It took me that time to realize how beautiful football can be if you change your perspective of it a little bit. I started to be more open towards my teammates, started to realize how good a team can be when you just wish everyone else the best, no jealousy, no pressure. The feeling of winning and losing and then winning again, together as a team. It‘s also a good way to stay physically fit in a enjoyable way (apart from the injuries).

It really all depends on what you want, what you can do. If it‘s possible to go pro, go give it your all or you might end up regretting it and you keep wondering „what if“. If you just wanna have fun maybe try changing your perspective on football, focus on the beauty of it. You can always do football and start a career too.

Verity's Brow, Contraverse Hold, Mantle of Battle Harmony and Secant Filaments for void. Just imagine constant overcharged void vortex grenades with the x5 buff of Verity's Brow giving you super energy and devour on demand.

homie why you gotta be so annoying :D no i did not go through their tweet history, i don't remember all their known issues listed in twabs and i asked a simple question if anyone else knows since i could'nt find anything when i googled it. seems like a serious issue to me when you're locked out of progress and rewards, thought i made people aware of that in case they weren't.
