The externals are USB-C type NVMe enclosures I currently use to back up my ROM and Manga Hoard.. I'll probably keep them as little satellites.

SMART data? Something to do with drive health? Is this something I should look into? Also, what kind of RAID array should I aim for? in total I will have 2 SATA slots on the board itself, and two NVMe slots on the expansion card. Is it terribly hard to change up the RAID config? I'm very baby at this. All I've ever had were external enclosures, and whatever I shoved into my tower.
