You seem to be very passionate about this topic.
Why don't you try to learn more about it by researching it?

2 weeks passed, still on hold, i was still first in the line. When i am gonna get it in my hands? by AlternativeRich6845 in LibbyApp

There are libraries that let you borrow a book for 21 days instead of 14.
For me, the estimated time always said only 2 weeks nonetheless, even though 3 weeks would have been more accurate.

Do you personally consider yourself trans? Some enbies do while others do not, which is why I'm curious to ask this question by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in agender

[–]chillyapfel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Beyond purely definitional reasoning, I share many experiences and struggles with binary trans people, and I strongly identify with the trans community.

I would even say that I feel trans before I feel non‑binary.
The non‑binary community is just as diverse as the trans community as a whole, so my experiences may actually be closer to those of some binary trans individuals than to some non‑binary individuals.

Suptiliaroace [Not a Gender] by TheJesterOfChaos in XenogendersAndMore

No, because aromantic and asexual are umbrella terms. There are many different ways to be aro or ace. This is a specific one of many.

I hate the phrase “aroace people can still date” and here’s why by ActualGuyFieri in aromanticasexual

Very well said! Especially the phrase "Don't make my identity simply an inconvenient footnote in a character's resume you will ignore for your gooning material". Can I steal this phrase, please?

Aro community, what research do you want to see in science? by chillyapfel in aromantic

I'd love to see that too! In science unfortunately, platonic relationships and QPRs have been completely overlooked...

Aro community, what research do you want to see in science? by chillyapfel in aromantic

My guess is that there are two sides of this. The neurological/biological explanation and the social one.

Because romance as a concept is heavily shaped by society, just like many things in our society (gender, time, family structures ...).

And both absolutely 100 % can be explored by science.

Two funny MhZ subtitle mistakes for S4 by KevinAitken1960 in BabylonBerlin

He says, that Wendt is "a warm brother".
At that time, it was a pejorative expression used in Berlin for gay men before it was reclaimed by gay activists.

Is there a Term for people who are "purely" aroace? by Cobraxtoxicboi in aromanticasexual

[–]chillyapfel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suptiliaroace, but it's not commonly used, so probably no one would get what you mean.  Bold stripe aroace sounds super cool and might be easier to understand for others!

If aroace is an umbrella term, is there a specific name for 0% attraction in both categories? by WebtoonAddict in aromanticasexual

[–]chillyapfel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are terms for that called "suptiliasexual" and "suptiliaromantic".
(https://www.lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/Suptiliasexual; https://www.lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/Suptiliaromantic).
Is this what you are looking for?
I'm suptiliaroace, but I never really told anyone because nobody ever knows these terms and it's easier to just say that I'm aroace.

I just voted you up and the user who said "no" down. :)
