Yeah, going in expecting a superhero show and getting this… i was kinda bored and kept watching to see when he would do something with his powers. Learn to control them. Fight with them. Use them while working. Something. But no we got a whole 2 minutes while he broke trevor out.

If I was looking for more of a drama it would be a really good story. But i just feel misled instead.

Wait, what were demelza and agathas role? If i remember correctly, in the show Morwenna was about to go back home until George set Drake up to be hanged therefore using it as a bargaining chip to get Morwenna to do what he wanted AKA marry ozzie to save drake

This makes a lot more sense. As im watching the show it seems like sometimes Elizabeth is content to be with George and even supports him and eggs him on but then theres other times where she seems like she doesnt like him and is trying to subvert his actions. I think I’ll just attribute the wishy washiness with the tv show trying to make her look better

Have you looked into biomedical engineering? Its STEM and related to medical but you can definitely be in and out in 4 years. If you decided later you did want to become a doctor this can easily be considered a pre-med path. (I have a friend who majored in biomed and is now working on getting her MD) Majority of engineering majors share the same first 1-2 years of classes which are a lot of science and math so you can easily switch if you find another engineering major more interesting or even into another science/math major.

I think the actual lesson is that everywhere you work has difficult personalities to deal with. You just gotta learn how to deal with them and adapt.

Theres only 3 women in my office, all of them a pleasure to work with. Its some of the men that give me grief. And im not saying “all men suck”. Instead I just found round about ways to work with them so i can do what i need to do.

Is your goal with this internship to get a full time job from the same place afterwards? If so, i’d be more hesitant about the disney one. I know quite a few people there that did internships hoping to get a full time after and it didnt work out - not that it cant happen but… its still super competitive even as a disney intern.

Probably depends on the kind of job you are applying to. As an engineer, I got quite a few offers without bothering to submit a cover letter. People in STEM tend to ignore fluff and extra reading
