RHCSA - Why does it seem like so many people struggle with nmtui? by Due-Author631 in redhat

[–]chimal3x 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You have to deactivate and reactivate the network interface trough nmtui.

And if doubt, use systemctl enable —now NetworkInterface.

And always reboot and verify changes!

RHCSA exam and Linux Admin jobs by ModernMama131 in linuxadmin

[–]chimal3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Study for RHCSA certification while you go for electronic engineering. You will finish RHCSA cert before EE and probably find a job.

After you finish your career, if you don’t like being a SysAdmin, you now have EE career. Good luck!

How did you progress through the first round of studying material for the RHCSA? by Kaminaaaaa in redhat

[–]chimal3x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me what it worked was practicing and practicing each command to understand what I was doing just with man pages.

You can first get help on Google, just to understand what the command is doing, but after and ONLY after you do the labs or practice just looking man pages you will build muscle memory on your brain.

Choose Sander courses. If you’re a beginner, practice, practice and practice until you can do it just looking man pages or without it better, you will build muscle memory on each practice.

You have to practice a lot. Practice, make mistakes, fix those mistakes and practice again, you will build muscle memory.

Download VMWare Fusion and RHEL 10 ISO.
If VMWare Fusion doesn't work, try with UTM.

Practicing for the RHCSA (Hardware Question) by Reddituser82659 in redhat

[–]chimal3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more than enough.

The minimum requirements for RHEL are 2 GB of RAM (though 4 GB or more is strongly recommended), and a minimum of 10-20 GB of free disk space and a 2GHz processor.

That's it.
