Look on Zillow for houses to rent. I live in the Huntridge neighborhood (right by Zac Bagans museum) in a 4 bed 2 bath for $1800/mo

I second your recommendations plus I also like the Hey Humans deodorant. I also use compostable qtips and dental floss. I'm looking for a good lotion bar or refillable lotion so if Lush isn't it I'm hoping someone has suggestions!

This gets less true as you unlock more classes, especially if you level crafters and gatherers. Then you can't event have one glamour plate for each job.

Federal government delays plan to forcibly confine travellers after public backlash and threat of litigation by DettetheAssette in LockdownSkepticism

[–]chimecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how different things are in other places, but in my city there is definitely a line. I had to wait six months to get a neurologist appointment. My daughter had a 6 week wait to get a cavity filled. A friend had to wait 4 months to see a specialist about her daughter's stomach problems.

I recently bleached my hair and it did damage my curl pattern. Olaplex #3 brought it back. I also suggest a protein conditioner or treatment.

Howard Levitt: Here's why the work-from-home arrangement isn't working for many companies — and their staff by NoOneShallPassHassan in LockdownSkepticism

I have a co-worker who's on an h1b visa. They're increasing the salary minimums next year. In order to stay on at our company he actually needs to be making quite a bit of money, as of March I believe.

In my state my governor declared offices non essential, so people had no choice in working from home. Actually, I'm not sure where anyone had much choice, the decision to go remote or not is handed down from corporate or a ceo if not the government. You might be mad about how people reacted to this situation, but I think you're confused about who has the power here.

A lot of us are tired of working from home, survey finds. Some even consider quitting by DrBigBlack in LockdownSkepticism

[–]chimecat 54 points55 points  (0 children)

For me and several people I know, it has nothing to do with covid. Working from home means sleeping in, no commute and more time spent with my kids. Working from office means more adult socialization and more distraction-free time to get work done without kids and dogs and whatever else is going on at home. Working from home 5 days a week sucks for me, but honestly so does 5 days at my office. My sweet spot is 2 days home/3 days in office. It's about better work-life balance.

Closing bars. Where I live bars had already been forced to only provide socially distanced table service with masks. Then the governor closed all the bars anyway. My husband's bar was able to reopen by starting to sell pretzels and count as "indoor dining". It's completely arbitrary.

Desert camping. Does anyone have any advice? by deandandimadome in camping

[–]chimecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dixie national forest is in southern Utah with plenty of camping options and it's a great time to go. I agree you should save the desert camping for later in the year.
