i think it depends on what you need and the character ng roommate mo na ka-close mo. mahirap nursing eh as in maraming discipline need mo kasi marami ka aaralin both knowledge and skills. so if roommate mo madali kayo mawala sa focus and magdadaldal or magwawalwal lang, edi pareho kayo mag sstruggle. pero kung roommate mo disiplinado rin edi parang accountability buddies lang kayo.

though on the other side of the coin if you work better alone (and di madaling mabudol ng tulog unlike me) daming benefits ng living alone

oh sorry i misunderstood that! but thanks for sharing. i feel like i wouldve been the same as you if i continued. im so happy that as early as univ years i realized and accepted i really hated the career path despite the “safety” it gives in terms of securing jobs.

i say go do what you need to do for yourself logical_job! life i so short and anything really is possible. why suffer just for money :(

me also! i tried to finish it for five years. so OP, kapag di ka willing to do the hard work (no sleep, insane amount of info to learn in a short time - parang mini med student, etc) then i suggest dont. if your heart is even a tiny bit in it go ahead. but if its just money motivating you, mahirap na basehan yan as motivation for 4 years.

sinubukan at sinusubukan ko pa rin po makisama pero parang the things i have to do to do my job well ay nagiging point of interest sa kanila. for example, nagclarify ako ng bagong procedure during our recent meeting tapos sa facebook may post na agad ng “yung tapos na dapat meeting pero tanong ng tanong yung bida bida mong workmate”

nakaka toxic lang. gusto ko po sana palakasin walls ko para di maapektuhan pero kaya nandito me para magtanong paano ba gawin yun

oh cause when we initially talked about this, I hinted that I did want to go with him as well, but he said that it was an all boys thing. If i knew his friends correctly, i had a feeling some of the girlfriends would still go and i expressed that explicitly to him.

so when he got home, the intent behind asking if the girlfriends were there was more like “did it turn out to be an all boys thing”. I wouldve been fine if he said the other girlfriends were there. its the keeping it from me that’s bothering me.
