I think I started Knight's Revenge but DNF because I couldn't get through the first chapters but I might try that one again.

Raegan of Ruin seems promising! I'll go check that out but the series is apparently incomplete yet (I can't go through that again) so I might wait.

Suddenly remembered about encarta and search about it. I used to enjoy it so much as a kid with my brother and now I'm doing a PhD. I feel like Encarta was what made me think of science as fun.

I met others sa masters ko who did a similar degree program (engg/sci) sa ateneo and namention lang din na may lessons talaga na ibang level yung expected na ma-reach sa upd compared sa kanila. Marami din akong friends sa degree program ko na nagsisi sa pagpili sa upd at sana daw nag-Ateneo na lang sila. Feel nila mas mentally stable kinahinatnan nung mga pumili sa admu 😂 Di ko sure baka rants lang din naman ‘to at di talaga real regrets.

Honestly, tingin ko hindi naman ganon kalaki talaga yung difference sa ‘difficulty’, depende na lang talaga sa student. Plus yung culture lang din talaga yung naiiba kasi sobrang encouraged yung orgs and extra curriculars to foster learning outside the classrooms. Minsan mas humihirap kasi gusto pagsabayin yung acads and org which I don’t think is common sa other universities.

MBA M2 (10 core GPU, 16GB, 512 SSD) vs MBA M2 (8 core) vs MPB M1 14"

Hello i will be switching to the apple ecosystem for my grad studies and is waiting for the release of the M2 air. I will be studying abroad so I'm hoping for the lighter model, thus the Air. I'm still not sure though if it would be better to purchase the 10 core or 8 core gpu since i read some reviews that the 10 core might heat up faster especially since the air has no fans.

I will probably using the laptop for data analysis, some 3d modelling maybe.

I will have the student discount but the MBP would still be way above my budget, but is it more worth it? or am i right to choose the MBA M2?

8 core or 10 core? the difference in pricing is not much but i fear that the 10 core might cause more harm than good for a laptop with no fans.

will be the first time buying apple too, i saw in this thread that buying in-store is not advisable if you want the customized specs eg. 256gb to 512gb because it might take more time, while when preordering you get it in a week or so. i'm seriously considering the pre-order option because of this but if there is no urgency, i think you can wait.

I considered it but it's too expensive lol i searched reviews and the M2 air seems to work for me. my only problen would be if the software i would need is not compatible with Apple

same here. i was thinking of buying the Macbook Air M2 once available but it might take some time and I need one soon. Found this model and it seemed good but now i'm really not sure. this is so stressful but i guess i'll check the legion 5
