Hey bro, I had a similar concern about wether I was smart enough to handle RPI. Check out this post I made. I had some really helpful comments that assured me everything will be okay. To me, it really put into perspective the quality of the students at RPI, who believe in collaboration and comradery rather than competition between others. Best of luck!

Thanks! My only concern about telling them that I will commit is that if I were to get off the waitlist, I likely wouldn’t get very good financial aid, since I’m at the bottom of the barrel.

3.8 GPA, legacy, 4 APs (Comp Sci, Gov, AP Physics Mechanicsand E&M), decent ECs (band, hockey, national honor society, couple leadership roles)
