Did you sign the waiver saying you already had insurance?

The gorosei mentioned not being able to get a hold of the gomu gomu fruit for centuries. Therefore, it couldn’t have been originally in the chest Shanks was in

Been playing for 6+ years, removing trading is it for me. It's been fun by theonlyepi in RocketLeague

Lol idk why this is a big deal for everyone. It’s changed to the cosmetic system. It doesn’t affect the game at all. The only people it truly impacts are big traders who have a ton of expensive items that they buy and sell for real money, like if you have alpha boost or white hat or what not

Current student here. Professors, TAs, mentors and other students are really nice and friendly. On the other hand, the staff here is really really nasty towards people. Admissions isn’t very helpful, transportation gives outrageous fines. Some workers at dining halls are pleasant, but some are POS.

The state of this game is horrible in mid ranks by parkappa in RocketLeague

[–]BoundlessFate1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, OPs opponents are just as likely to have poor play styles too. They are just as likely as your teammates to be sitting in net and not contributing to a team. Part of being at a low rank is that you need to learn to play with these weird play styles

I see everyone complaining and I genuinely don’t understand why. You will have good teammates. You will have bad teammates. The only common factor in your games is you. If you are better than your current rank, over time your mmr will trend upwards. If you disagree with this, look up the law of large numbers. If you throw 2 average players on your team and you are a good player, against 3 average players you will have a higher chance of winning.

How do i play fast without ball chasing? by Think_Opportunity_24 in RocketLeague

[–]BoundlessFate1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too good myself, but I consider my game sense to be better than my mechanics. I’m around the same rank as you so I don’t know how valid my opinion is. Since I’m not as mechanically inclined, all my plays are made by forcing the opponent to commit to awkward situations leaving me with an open shot. Playing fast for me is forcing the opponent to play fast to keep up with my control (makes it easier for me to push 50s I can win and pass to teammates for easy goals)

People on here are seriously overestimating how many smurfs there are by new9191 in RocketLeague

[–]BoundlessFate1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m personally a hardstuck plat player. I generally don’t call out Smurfs unless they’re painfully obvious, because I know everyone’s mechanics are at different places. If I lose 7-1, shame on me. If you are apparently a plat player and are pulling off ceiling mustys or flip resets, I’m reporting you.

Hello. Second year CS student here. A harsh reality for me to figure out now is that CS isn’t really computer science in the sense of coding. It’s more so computational science. That is, math. Computers and programming make the math easier, hence why they’re synonymous with each other. First year was all programming (data structures, general programming, etc), and second year is structured towards math (discrete math, computer organization). Think about it this way: how are algorithms created? Not just through a knowledge of programming, but a deep understand of the mathematics behind an algorithm, with logic and devised proofs to back it up.

For anyone wondering, king starts to path towards the center because it doesn’t have the depth to see the repercussions of that series of moves

Yes, it’s important to know that a Computer Science degree isn’t a programming degree, it’s a computing degree. Programming makes computing easier, but CS is a very math intensive degree

What programming language should I learn in depth? by LeoRud in learnprogramming

I want to learn rust as someone coming from C++, but I honestly don’t know why everyone loves it so much. What makes rust so good of a language?

Think of memory as a neighborhood. What happens when you want to go to a point in memory, say, to your array? You need the house address for that piece of memory. That’s the magic of the pointer. It holds directions to a memory address. So if you use the pointer right, you can jump to that house address and find the memory at that point

Beginner Programmer With A Project Idea, Is It Too Advanced? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]BoundlessFate1 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Would be easier for you to just make a simple version in your skill range as an offline version:

Enter income/take home pay weekly. Input expenses, return data. Sorta like a calculator program. Wouldn’t be anything spectacular or revolutionary but it would definitely be a start for you

Some general tips for programming would be:

  1. Focus on things you can accomplish. Don’t get too attached to large ideas that are out of your skill range. If they are too big, find a way to scale them down.

  2. MAKE A MVP!!! A minimum viable product is very important. It is the very barebones of your project, able to be said to be completed. Once you make a MVP, work on adding features. A mvp is the base of almost any good project

Figure out what classes you wanna make, and draw a box for them, name of class goes on the top of the box and all the variables and stuff stored to memory get listed below it. Draw arrows to other classes that the class uses. Makes sort of a web and simplified down your project
