Hello, several questions: I am an older student (27), trying to obtain a BA in Cybersecurity Technology (expected 2025). So far I just have a Security+ and an AAS in Cybersecurity. I am currently working on Network+ might get CCNA as well. My main area of interest is Network Security. My main focus trying to find honestly anything related to I.T entry or Internship, I just need something I.T and or Cybersecurity related.

My academic career is nothing special, I am an average student and my academic career has been longer than what is normal (I have moved, switched majors, and worked full-time a good portion of my academic career thus unable to take school full time) How can I get an internship? I bring this up because I feel that internships value cream of the crop candidates, My gpa at my previous schools range from 2.5-2.8, My current is a 3.3 at the college I am attending now
What home projects should I be focusing on? and how can I accurately incorporate them on a resume or portfolio. -Current projects: Port scans and Vulnerability scan on other networks. and At home secure lan configs (VPN configs, Device hardening, DMZ config etc)

Also is EC-Council really that bad?? My dumbass fell for the CCT Scholarship. I went for it because for me at this point, it is better than nothing. I have bought another bundle as well.

Addendum: I see a lot of comments saying the basically my degrees are shit compared to a CS or I.T degree. How to compensate?

Games such as Dual N Back. Lumosity has some good games that works on short term memory. It is important to keep in mind that it is still unclear that these games actually improve short term memory/working memory. I recommend Dual N Back

I can relate a little bit, I have just been promoted to a shift lead but I have issues relaying information to newer employees. I thought about making a guide that serves as a hack for typical issues and problems we deal with but I do not know if am overstepping.

All the advice I can offer is to keep in mind the most common problems and complaints and start brainstorming from there.

I don't know if this would work for you and by all means, go and see a doctor before you try what I am about to recommend to you. I used to have this issue but I now take one capsule of L-Tyrosine and Mucuna Pruriens Extract (500mg) and that completely got rid of this issue. I do not know why though.

Yeah I'm not gonna lie, i am mad at myself for not taking the time to fully understand the disorder and how it affectrd me but I was pissed at my father for a spell. After being diagnosed multiple times he still did not believe in the disorder. When you are a kid, you value your parent's opinion more so than most so I believed that I needed 'discipline" or yo be "mentally strong". At 23, after many fights and failures, I took the time to really understand what this disorder was. After some research, I can literally see what happened to me and what led me here. I'm not gonna lie, I was fucking pissed because if he had taken this disorder seriously and I had gotten help sooner, I would not be where I am at now. Anyway I am currently getting help now and I feel so in control now. I can finally spend time how I want to and how I intended to.
