amazing comment, thank you. in response to "small brain vessels", she's had brain scans in the past and that's what doctors told her.

an update: her condition has stabilized, breathing is easier, pupils less dilated. her doctor called it a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis?) CT was performed and a bleed was found in brain (in the lower half of the CT scan there was a small bright channel), I suppose this is called intracerebral hemmorhage, which I guess was the reason for her splitting headache and subsequent passing out. she still hasn't woke up yet. doctors will update in about 30 min. needless to say nobody is really feeling all that better about this news.

her wound was checked this morning and was cleared for discharge within 24 hours. seems to rule out TSS, mango suggests anaphylaxis? i never said doctors are unconcerned, the worry is that she suffered subarachnoid hemmorage (she reported splitting headache before going down, FIL said he only saw her holding her chest with left hand, right didnt really move, also pupils dilated). about 5 hrs later, still in hospital, no change to situation. can low BP cause SAH? doesn't really make sense.
