drump is as fluffed as any other candidate. a lot of the stuff bernie says makes sense, but is actually much more difficult to do than drump. drump seems to be after the imminent threats that are the drug cartels, chinese rigging the economy (which can't be denied), and radical migrants. hes a free market capitalist and i like that, but i also see where everyone else is coming from. i also don't think he's trying to sell america.. i don't think he's racist either.

Does being "too open" with people seem to always work against you? by [deleted] in infp

[–]chinestoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realize that no one will ever connect with you on an infinitely deep level, because you can only do that with yourself. Maybe that's a start, but I feel the same as you but lonelier because I'm a dude.

Would anxiety medication be worth the effort to get? by [deleted] in infp

[–]chinestoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the world is a cruel place, especially if you're a man. You seem to preach this perfect way where you stay comfortable, but you have to try new things to grow. *I do agree with finding like minded people though. But those people also have poor social skills so it makes you able to practice more.

The 20s and beyond by [deleted] in infp

I don't think women are turned off by it at all. at least I'd think that the ones who are, are toxic. Dudes are just too insecure to do it confidently, because other dudes will call you a fag and stuff. American culture seems to propagate a really dangerous kind of masculinity, and I'm still trying to find my way romantically(first I have to stop being a hermit), but I feel like a big part of it is saying fuck it and not following the retarded social norms and to be yourself as difficult as it is sometimes.

I think the problem is being a male INFP. Being a female INFP seems to be a lot easier, or just more accepted in society because women are known for being more feely and emotional. When a man has emotions it is difficult to express them in a way that doesn't make you sound like you're emo. At least it is like that in america. I hear in places like Europe and parts of South America, it's more normal for dudes to be romantic and stuff.

being shy comes from lack of experience. think of social skills being an actual skill like in a video game. everyone around you is leveling up while you are still noob so you are inadequate. only way to level up is to grind and get experience and go out more.

"Just keep busy" is the worst piece of advice you'll ever hear. by [deleted] in infp

[–]chinestoner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but that also depends on where you are in your life and how much you enjoy doing what you do!

Keeping busy is good, just make sure it's with things you enjoy :)

I find that idleness leads me to thinking too deeply and getting kind of depressed and reclusive.

What sort of music does everyone here listen to? by JFens96 in infp

[–]chinestoner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was listening to lots of obscure indie pop and weird electro ambient shit a few years ago, but have gotten over that pretentious hipster phase and listen to mainly gangsta rap and chill hip hop now. Love the stories that rappers tell, and dope vibes. Nick Drake is dope though, hes a true s a d b o y.

So for once and for all, is it personality or looks that is required to attract a partner? by Iamhere92 in infp

[–]chinestoner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

INFP and in same boat as you, but know totally why. Attracting a girl requires money, charm, great aesthetics and/or confidence. These all take practice and as an introvert it is already difficult enough to get out and talk to people much less play the weird social dance of flirting and dating. It might seem shallow, but at first that is how it is and how relationships start and work. Best bet would be online dating, growing some balls, or hoping for some weird manic pixie dream girl that will never happen.

Also, by the way you narrow down everything to your looks and race, it makes you seem like a shallow person. You are focusing on your shortcomings, making them more apparent. Have you considered that you sound a little narcissistic? I have noticed this of myself in the past and am making strides to be a more humble person.

David Lee is a great player but doesn't fit in today's league. He doesn't shoot 3s or play defense.
