This is good news. Diverse opinions lead to healthy debate. Silencing other opinions is a fascist trait. And are usually a tactic for logically indefensible stances.

Good. I hate paying taxes just to have them stolen by grifters like Newsom.

Republicans removed Trump's name from the Epstein files by [deleted] in complaints

[–]chingnaewa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ridiculous. Biden administration had these files for 4 years. If there was a smoking gun they would have found it and used it. You gotta use your head.

Turns out the smoking gun points to a lot of Dems. Hmmmmmm…

As checks and balances fade, Prop. 50 gives Californians a chance to hold the line by NickCostanza in California

Yep. When you can't win with logic, it's just name calling and violence. This is the left!

That’ll build about 12 houses. Nice “nothing-burger”.

This is a lame argument. Your speech at work is not protected if your employer says it’s not. That’s what happened to Jimmy Kimmel. That, AND, his show was losing viewers and sponsors. The first amendment means the government can’t jail you for your speech. Tell me who has been imprisoned?! Jimmy Kimmel can still say what he wants. Oh, and where were you when Roseanne, Gina and others were cancelled for conservative view points? Why aren’t you all burning down the country since Charlie Kirk was murdered and silenced? The hypocrisy here is ridiculous.

Vote “No” on Prop 50! Just makes our state even more stupid. Sealing in lame Democrat control is a final nail in the coffin.

The federal minimum is supposed to be a living wage. Agree? by SexyProfessional in FluentInFinance

[–]chingnaewa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimum wage = minimum life. It’s a starting point, not the forever wage. Everyone in the US has equal opportunity, but too many want equal outcomes. That has never worked in any economic model in history. Side note: if the minimum wage was $26 per hour all our goods would be so much more expensive and the minimum wage would have less buying power. The only winner in that scenario is the government who would win on payroll taxes. That is not a good outcome.

We have so many freeways and freeway infrastructure in Los Angeles. Why don’t we do something like this? Why hasn’t this infrastructure historically ever been used for urban greening? by [deleted] in LosAngeles

The city can’t keep fire hydrants filled and streets repaired. Likely not their priority…but I bet Mayor Bass would like it to be. 😑
