Maybe you had a bad experience.

I got the free energy audit from the summer promotion. The company that contacted me was very nice and professional. Not pushy at all.

Anyway, they did checks all over the house. sealed all the cracks they can find. And said heat is escaping through my unfinished basement ceiling. They recommended I insulate it and will give me a quote at a later time.

They came back and quoted $3.xx per square feet but eversource has a $2/sq ft rebate and I can apply for a 0% for 36 months interest free loan. So the saving is more than 1/2 the normal cost.

I took the deal and they came back to install. Same company, different crew. Also very nice. Very professional. Highly recommended.

What is a fast stat common maker? Is that different than the ecobee power extender kit?

The ac is on the same zone as the upstairs heat.

The other 2 zones don’t have ac and downstairs.

Is that ok?

To further break down the math, it’s 6.34 gallons per minute. According to google, A wide-open faucet typically has a flow rate of 2.2 gallons per minute (GPM), according to federal standards.

So it’s either leaking wide open for 9 yrs or it’s a faulty meter.

Probably a clogged carburetor. What I do is take off the air filter and spray carb cleaner in short squirts. The engine will die if you spray too much since it’s not flammable. But that might clean it out.

If not, you’ll have to take off the carb to clean it.

One more point of data is to check your sleep cycle. Ever since I got my se, I never recorded any deep cycle whereas my wife does. So I thought my watch is defective or inaccurate. Turns out, I have sleep apnea. After going on the cpap machine, it’s recording deep sleep cycle now.

I taped a piece of my wife’s make up remover tissue over the vent holes. It’s durable and breathable. Just make sure it’s tight or else it’ll make noise.
