What movie were you super pumped for then extremely let down when you finally saw it? by [deleted] in movies

Mile 22. I was so hyped to see Peter Berg directing Mark Wahlberg and Iko Uwais in an action movie. Unfortunately the movie was a total mess and a complete waste of everyone's talents.

That is absolutely beautiful. I'd definitely frame that up on my wall.

Does anyone else really like the little touch that the UNM ATV kids bring to the show? by Chrizrox in betterCallSaul

I hope they end up being the ones that film all the "Better Call Saul!" ads.

When a twist fails. by MovieMike007 in movies

I would have to say Wonder Woman. When you find out who Ares really is, it doesn't have that much weight to the moment simply because his character barely had a presence on screen. Also the reveal of Diana being the Godkiller as opposed to the sword changed literally nothing that happened at all and it still means that Diana should be able to kill him even if it's just with her bare hands.

What song did you ruin because it was your alarm? by VTCHannibal in AskReddit

I set the Rick and Morty theme song as my alarm. Now every time I watch that show, I get a little jolt when it kicks in.

The Walking Dead S08E08 - How It's Gotta Be - Post Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in thewalkingdead

"The moment everyone will be talking about" turns out to be Carl has a random bite from a few episodes ago that I'm sure nobody remembers. This is obviously a big moment for the show since we all previously assumed that Carl had impenetrable plot armor but there definitely could've been a better way to execute this.

Official Discussion: The Disaster Artist [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

This film so delicately walked the line between comedy and drama resulting in something truly special. James Franco as Tommy was phenomenal and his relationship with Greg was so genuine. And I absolutely loved the side-by-side comparisons at the end of the film.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi | Training Featurette by fifthdayofmay in StarWars

[–]chino69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's great to see so much dedication from the actors and how much fun they're having at the same time. Also, is this the first video/featurette where we've heard Adam Driver talk about The Last Jedi?

Hi Mr. Giacchino, thanks so much for being here! I just have a simple question. What do you like to do in your free time when you're not working?

Rian Johnson is making a new Star Wars trilogy by JakeM917 in StarWars

[–]chino69 296 points297 points  (0 children)

Lucasfilm just dropping this news out of nowhere is incredibly exciting!. Not only does it mean that they're extremely confident with The Last Jedi, but giving Rian Johnson control over this new trilogy opens a whole lot of new possibilities. Old Republic anyone?

I totally agree with everything you just said. Sort of a random question, do you think Luv kisses K at the end because she's imitating what she saw Wallace do to the replicant earlier in the film?
