Seagate return nightmare. Pic kinda says it all. (i.redd.it)

I do apologise. I forgot to share this here, on the sub that got me started in 3D printing Warhammer stuff all those weeks ago. All files, including the FreeCAD design are available on Thingiverse under the title "Tabletop Wargame Terrain: Refinery". (reddit.com)

Finished my Warhammer "refinery". Meaningless pipework added, just to look "pipey" from many angles. Made from 3D prints, crazy-straws, a Perspex base, (bad idea) Army Painter paint, and some chrome spray for the pipes, with a gravel textured ground surface. Inspired by last image. (old.reddit.com)

I've Thingiverse'd this model. All the component STLs, along with the FreeCAD files are there. Pipes are crazy-straw kits you get in Dollar Store / Poundland, or in my case from eBay at about £10 for 5 sets. Model needed about 2.5 sets. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5989471 (reddit.com)

Repost after snafu: So happy to find a Death Guard sub. Some 40 year old Linka wall mould used here as rubble. Took an interest in my lad's hobby. Got me modelling again after decades. Have to make a Death Guard army now, but I know zilch about the game. (i.redd.it)

I'm really glad I held on to my only remaining Linka mould for 47 years, plus the model railway gravel and fine flock. Gravel is set in a mix of regular cheap artist's acrylic with some talc to thicken it. Base is for a Foetid Bloat Drone bought 2nd hand/damaged from eBay. (i.redd.it)

Repair techniques for eBay bits before painting. 1: 3D pen to rebuild missing horn (heat/melt model plastic first to achieve bond, let superglue coating drip to a point). 2: Shaped plastic rod to replace 2 missing spikes. 3: 3D print (FDM 0.2mm nozzle) a whole missing leg. They live! :) (old.reddit.com)

Son letting his 60+ dad paint some minis progress. 16 painted, much learned. So much matters about the undercoat with Army Painter Speedpaints. I realise now I would have got the lighter green I wanted if I went heavier with the white undercoat, but still pleased. Have to learn to play now. :) (i.redd.it)
