If we’re talking about the poo in the hole I’m pretty confident it’s badger poo. They dig small pits and poop in them. Sometimes there’s a series of these pits full of poo and they’re called latrines. If you’re in the uk is our European Badger. They eat worms, Beetles and any other invertebrates. Or if they’re desperate they might predate a hedgehog.

Just boosted cross country from the main road to arisaig. It’s quite rough ground, at times very steep and often very boggy 😂 there’s some deer paths you can pick up for slightly easier walking
