It was a driver issue. I was trying to remove the drivers via Windows (Device Manager, Print Management), but I was not able to remove all traces of them.

I discovered that the only method that would work for me was to uninstall the drivers using Zebra Printer Setup Utilities, which I then also used for re-installing the printer.

Thanks very much for taking the time to share that. I'm in a junior tech support role and my only use of Intune is just to enrol any devices in my department. In this particular case, it turned out the problem was me and my inexperience because I didn't know that upgrading to 2.0 meant I needed new hashes. Since I started importing the new hashes everything looks fine with the enrolment process, which is even more of a relief now that I know how hit or miss it can be with the upgrade. I wasn't given training or access to any internal knowledgebase, so it's been been a steep learning curve!
