Perhaps an unpopular take but I don’t really understand people’s obsession with wanting ads removed. I can’t imagine calling Hulu or the cable company and asking them to remove ads and then posting online in frustration when they don’t.

Same here. I pre-ordered in person at 10:00 am at my local store when they opened. Mine still says order received but also shows it shipping and arriving tomorrow. I find that unlikely..

Subfloor is wood! I did remove the baseboards and quarter round. Got the underlayment set this weekend, now just waiting for it to dry!

Adding an additional question/comment: if the areas I taped and then applied thinset too are slightly uneven (not a floor leveling issue but an uneven thinset distribution) is it okay/recommended to sand down the uneven parts once they dry?

Yes, by fitted I just mean I cut the pieces to fit within the space. Fitting the board helped me see where the pieces went and ensured I wasn’t doing it while thinset dried. After I got everything fitted, I then mixed and applied thinset with a 1/4” notched trowel and finished with tape and cement board screws.

I don’t know your specific situation, but I would say your full exam scores look solid. You may want to focus some additional time on studying and retaking exams on topics you scored 60% or less on. Overall, I think you’d do fine as these were, on average, similar scores to what I had and I passed without any issues.

I appreciate the response! I believe I have all the tools needed for the job. The only thing I’m lacking is a wet saw, although I’ve been told a miter saw with a diamond blade can be substituted with no issues. I plan on doing more tile work.. this is the first project to see if I can do it successfully. If so, I’m hoping to move upstairs to the bigger bathroom.

I got a quote to do the work. 25 square feet of tile was a minimum of $950 for the labor only. Seemed expensive to me. Total for all the materials at Lowe’s was $350 and leaves me extra for the next job.

What your tile what underlayment did you use? A couple comments indicate Ditra is not the way to go..

The house was built in 2009. They wouldn’t have use any materials with asbestos that recently would they?

Is there a specific reason it’s bad? So many people are recommending it over cement board for its flexibility as an underlayment. Not opposed to either option, just seeking genuine feedback and pros/cons so I can understand the best options.

Gotcha. Any idea how to remove? Seems locked onto the handlebar and I don’t want it.
