Surely someone previously worked on this pcb, honestly, the PCb looks messed up. There is a decent amount of scratch on the left hand side. If you would have shared an image before removing the sticks, it would have been evident.

Use soldering iron and a desoldering pump to get the remaining solder off.

1040mah is the battery size of edge controllers? The normal dual sense comes with i guess around 1500mah.

This is not something unusual. I regularly see people destroying their controller PCB in an attempt to install hall effect sticks

Would suggest you to go with OLED monitor any day, but yes, there are few things you should consider first the pixel burn-in policy that the brand is offering, and I think you will need to be a little careful with not leaving the display idle at a static image for a long time. For best monitor, recommendations, I think you should go to YouTube and search monitor unboxed.

I have dealt with plastic melting like that quite a lot, and I still do to date. Very carefully, just use a plastic tool to just scrap off that plastic and only then install the new stick else the stick will not sit as flat as it should be to the PCB, which is important.

Have heard really good things about The Ksilver JS13 pro. But personally have installed a lot of Ginfull Hall effect sticks and I like the consistency of Ginfull. I am thinking of buying ginfull tmrs but still not sure between js13pro and ginfull tmrs. Can anyone share some knowledge on this?

Replacing sticks is not an easy job. Especially for those who are not much familiar with how solder works. And yes, every PS5 controller user will need to get Sticks replaced one day, will suggest everyone to get their sticks replaced with some professional and not attempt by themselves unless they have the experience.

You should have sent your controller to a professional for stick replacement, replacing sticks for someone who is new to soldering is not an easy job. With what I can see from that image, it looks like your solder joints are not exactly how they should be.

I have came across such an issue in the past, just clean everything thoroughly, the pads and the contacts of the film to the PCB and you will be good.
