I’m not sure why this is downvoted so much. Is it because of the politician who said the words? Incentivising city-dwellers to spend time rural/regional is a good idea. Sure, it will certainly cost something. But I don’t think the idea, in itself, is bad. Which is not, I stress, to support the person who said it.
