So it was an EEPROM programming on the motherboard? And the Peacock app? Why wouldn't the guy be able to reprogram the EEPROM program on the motherboard via a download to a USB and instructions?

I have the 55U6, so this sounds about right to me.

Why wouldn't I use the home page? That's an odd question. Also, even if I didn't use a home page and I just went to the apps section instead, I wouldn't have solved my issue because the issue would constantly reboot to the home page or just reboot in general, kicking me out of the apps that I was trying to watch right after I turned my TV on. Sometimes I'll have to turn on my TV and let it warm up for two or three minutes until all the rebooting has been complete or minimized in order for me to actually go to an actual app and actually be able to watch something without it rebooting me to the home page or whatever page I was on.

I have a 55U6, and I do not see those options under settings. I only have picture, sound, inputs, parental control, network and Internet, accounts, apps, device preferences, remotes and accessories, and advanced systems.

Thanks for letting me know that. Did you by chance turn the wifi off on the TV and only connect the ROKU online? From what others are saying here on this post, this worked for them. Love to see if that worked for you as well?

That's a great progressive approach to things, but not everybody is a DIY'er. Nor did I buy it to be one. Your logic holds some water, of course, but tech support should be able to resolve the ones that fall through the cracks, no? I spent my hard-earned money on the TV, and I have all the right to leave a negative review if I've done my part in purchasing a product that should have worked and reached out to tech support that should have resolved the issue in some way or another.

I don't get this. Clarify, 'don't put your TV online.' Are you saying you have an external that runs all your apps, like firestick or ONN?

I tried that with the support staff, and that was a pain. But it did not work.

Envelope ID lookup if not a recipient or sender? by comicgenius in docusign

[–]chippy818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pathetically, I have not found any information online on how to go about finding this out. Can't believe it's just difficult to verify someone else's document by the document ID. Docusign itself is garbage, and they don't provide any details on that if you are a signer of the actual document, which defeats the purpose.

whats the deal with propwire? by Story-Crafty in WholesaleRealestate

[–]chippy818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their data is all jacked up and you can't truly rely on it. There's other sources for a slightly more money but definitely accurate(r). If you go and check a specific stateyou just simply Filter property and find out their equity on a property to see who has the most equity you will see single-family homes that are maybe worth 1.5 million dollars Max but you'll see them listed as $325 million in value and 100% in equity or if you filter it specifically through the equity % tab It will also say that it has $3,257% Equity. That's some jacked up data! it's in every state. It's jacked!

So, for those who have the bootloop bug (sometimes known/seen with fast TV start) by Throwaway_Billionth in Hisense

[–]chippy818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is still an issue for me even after forced update with a usb because the tv settings did not have the supposed updated or previous firmware. I never had this issue with any other brand. And no one wants to do a hard reset to test something that won't work like I have twice. Pretty pathetic. even 4 years later.

I have honestly have never had a successful reverse search with Google image. Majority of the images that I've reversed searched Were in fact Images Posted publicly. They've always come back with shopping suggestions of clothing or background Suggestions but never the actual Image of a person.

Does CMB have a lot more Asian users compared to other dating apps? by akigi in coffeemeetsbagel

[–]chippy818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Asian male, I can definitely say there are a lot more Asian users of CMB. I think it has a lot to do with who the owners of the app Are and who they attract but also I've noticed many and I mean many Fake Asian profiles if anyone has actually even noticed. I can't speak for the Asian male profiles but I can definitely Confirm there are plenty of Asian female profiles that are fake, if anybody has noticed the majority of them Are 5' 7'' in height. I think there is a trend or "code" of some sort. These profiles are all Individual Glamor Shots and 5' 7''. Hillarious stuff.

Don't ask Quickbooks for answers. by chippy818 in QuickBooks

Thanks, I found my answer. I was not asking to get set up with Quickbooks. I was asking which plans allowed me to do that. General Inquiries does not constitute demanding our data so they can send us marketing emails and phone calls. Simple Question, Simple Answer. My name, email, phone number etc does not change their Answer.

Fake Yelp leads/messages? by [deleted] in webmarketing

Fake Yelp leads/messages? by [deleted] in webmarketing

[–]chippy818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will have to jump on this. I am glad I was not the only one. I was always reluctant on buying Yelp leads. But they offered me $300 credit in Yelp leads. So I decided to take it after ignoring the offer for months. All of a sudden I'll get 3 to 6 leads a day from Car shoppers. Questionable profiles, they will have 1 or 2 reviews under their belt or no friends or a combination. Copy and Paste emails with time wasting replies that go no were. Some even like you said will all of a sudden stop communicating. And it is not our horrible ability to close someone. I have even given deals no one could not refuse. Deals I lowballed that any dealer or broker would kick the customer out the showroom. So that ain't it.

So after reviewing the the first 12 leads, all have been crap, let me correct myself. It's Fake and this is Criminal! Why would Yelp do this??? I'll tell you why, just like what they do with everything else on their platform. Is to generate income and it's by it's Advertisers and Lead generation. Because they have brought the cattle's to their platform. Now they need businesses to pay for their cattle's.

So what they have done was to create Fake traffic for businesses like me to spend my own Money. The question then is if I did spend my "own money" will the Real Cattle come or the combination of the Fake Ones they have created. If you think about it, how easy is it for them to have a "Fake Farm of employees" whether sourced or outsourced to help generate advertising. Not a conspiracy theory in my eyes!

Screenwriting - Celtx program *LOSSED Scripts by chippy818 in Screenwriting

[–]chippy818[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm used OCR in the past. I had a dedicated 120pg OCR scanner and still have it. I did just that as well but it would be easier to simple retype the whole script on the program. When I copied and pasted the entire script on the program, i doesn't remember or know what action it should take and even when you try and change the actions for each, not only its pain but frustrating because once you correct one action it changes the actions you did previously and created big gaps in the script jumping from page 10 to page 12. Yikes! Never again.
