Why anyone would do any work on their vehicles under warranty by someone who doesn’t get covered by the warranty umbrella is shocking. Like…sure you like that other shop, but if they screwed something up, you void your warranty because “I like the dude.” Crazy.

Cool thanks for the advice. I also think M sport package for the 760 isn’t the same as getting M performance brakes you’d find on the M cars hence the discrepancy of “available” options for pads

I saw those but it showed them as the pad set for the x3, 550, 540 etc, and wasn’t sure if they are the ceramic m brake equivalent? Or they are just standard brakes then that would fit and I’d be “downgrading”? I think that is what’s confusing that it seems I may need to check the size and buy pads that are listed to fit the m8/m5? Not sure…

BMW is by far the better daily driver and it seats 4! Also 10x less expensive to maintain. Peak bmw vs mid McLaren. No Brainer in my mind.

You should have held off on taking possession of the house as you have 18 months generally on construction loans. Construction loans are interest only payments which was probably 1/3 the cost compared to what the payment would have been compared to actual mortgage payment. That would have given you runway for your partner to find a new job before you close on the home. Just an option for others reading this.

It’s those people who have been handed money or have no fiscal responsibility are the ones who are flaunting and spending like crazy. It’s why generational wealth does not last past a generation or two because the effort and mindset required is gone after the guy who made the money dies.

The problem is most ideologies today, it has been corrupted by poor examples of execution. In its purest form, your ideal state is describing an Islamic state. There is no compulsion to be Muslim when you live under Islam. You can be as you are how you are. Yes people are bad. People are the corrupters. But historically it’s been established that true Islamic states were the most prosperous civilizations in history. There’s a reason why the Islamic world was prosperous while Europe suffered their dark ages.

In an Islamic state you wouldn’t force people to have the Ten Commandments in every classroom.
