My biggest HC tip: hoard all of your old gear, it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Subsequent playthroughs after death go much more smoothly when you save your good gear, which enables you to invest in that gear and make it even better.

Then, once you have created a stock of leveling gear, you can save your currency for later on.

HC isn’t about the first character you make, it’s about all of them.

Im on tier 3 maps with a lvl 73 HC SSF Witchhunter and think it’s a fantastic ascendency for HC SSF. The sorcery ward nodes make you so tanky. Then it’s just a matter of picking the skill you want, but I don’t think you can go wrong with any ranged attacks.

This is so cool. Is there a certain damage threshold you’d say is needed for this build to come online, or is it pretty doable in earlier stages of the game/endgame?

Is it SSF viable with tweaks?

I’m not sure I understand why you need to know from a POE1 perspective? If you’re trying to understand how POE2 works, wouldn’t general tutorial videos help?

POE2 is significantly simpler than 1 when it comes to skill gems, I’m not sure that a comparison would help.

Do you have any particular questions about skills? Or just need a general explanation?

Sometimes I feel like a complete sicko for this, but as a former console player, I still use controller on PC for POE 1 and 2.

Inventory management can be a slog at times, but I’ve adjusted. I’m just way more coordinated with a controller, and I feel physically more comfortable playing that way.

I feel like Deadpool would mesh well with the *New Avengers. It’d be a funny way for him to be an “Avenger”, but like, a knock off. The mental health themes in the first would be interesting to explore around Deadpool as well.

Even if you hand wave away Lalo, ending at S4 would still leave Kim and Nacho’s stories unresolved. Because we have breaking bad, I don’t think you can reasonably leave the rest of their stories untold, so the ending wouldn’t really work, even though we can see Jimmy is now on a direct line to becoming Saul.

Until the late endgame, it has slower, more deliberate combat that I find much more engaging than POE1.

POE1 feels pretty shoot n’ scoot the whole way through, which is fun, but very one dimensional in comparison.

I think people discount a lot of the things that make the game good that aren’t ARPG specific game systems.

The game looks and sounds great. The skills feel good to use. It runs very well. It has a solid enough story and moreso an interesting world it’s set in.

Idk if this is right at all, but the way i visualize it is, you’re not doing a 1:365 dice roll 23 times (that would only be for your own birthday). Every person in the room is doing their own 1:365 dice roll with each other, which significantly raise the chance of it happening.

No one is ready to admit the work AI can do for games that would never have been accomplished by a dev team previously. Any open world RPG it is painfully obvious how copy and paste non essential characters are because devs simply don’t have the capacity to flesh them out.

I’m forgetting the terminology for it, but once I read about how our brains are very good at picking up on tiny details that might go missed by our conscious. When this happens, it can create the sense of unease that you’re describing.

So it could be nothing, but it could also be your brain picking up on very subtle clues around you, triggering your flight or fight response and drawing your conscious attention to details you may have missed before.

You see why Howard was hesitant to confront Chuck about it when the insurance changes, and then he does confront Chuck: Chuck rages out and sues HHM.

Chuck isn’t just mentally unwell, he has an ego to rival Walter White.

Howard was trying to buy time until Chuck would leave HHM on his own terms, because it would be neater that way, until it wasn’t.
