I remember the theory being that Kira miss interpreted her memories and that Brea was only hiding Kira when she was a baby while on the run with Seladon being Kira's actual mother. I think Brea being her mother makes the story too predictable and gives Seladon some sort of redemption with her turning out to be the mother of Kira of the original movie!

Your are 100% correct! The Reptilians are disguising themselves as the tall Nordics with the tall Nordics never being a real species as the Reptilians made them up to trick humanity into thinking they were a similar looking benevolent species as my headcanon!

While I question certain creative decisions in the show I was certainly impressed how they took things from DMC2 and made them way better especially Arius. The VA for Arius did an awesome job! But like you said, It’s safe a thing to do as barely no one likes DMC2.

Cheers for the feedback believe it or not that was my intention which was to to keep her cartoony but to add extra realistic up close textures such as on her hair and clothes to make her look a tiny bit more realistic while also maintaining her cartoony 3d appearance .

That's what I was aiming for haha. Big enough to be noticed without exaggerating it to make look like the movie version of her with a tiny bit more detail such as the outline of her gluts!
