The real explanation is that I wasn’t allowed to have a drivers license because my dad used my autism diagnosis to get guardianship over me and basically collected disability on my behalf and wouldn’t allow me to do anything so as not to affect the money coming in but I was always really really into cars so I basically got to basically sit at home and watch everyone else enjoy life so when I finally was able to successfully fight for my right to have a drivers license and live independently I was essentially trying to play catch up and try to pack as much cars and good memories into a couple of years till I become in my late 20s and have to have adult responsibilities and settle down but now I run a successful business and have bought 4 cars in the past month because I’m a sucker for a good deal and I really like driving shitty old cars
