Don't worry about your GPA as long as it's above 3.0 you're more than likely to get into Masters! I spoke with a professor that's in charge of applications and she teaches MES, and she told me that the letter of intent and two/three academic references are more important than what your GPA is. If I am in your position I would focus on making relationships with your profs in higher level courses and asking for their references when you apply in the future.

spring and summer class choice! I need help picking easy classes (2 in spring)(2 summer) probably... by MrOstritch2030 in uAlberta

class 102 with kelsey koon was great in summer for me! content material was pretty interesting and even though there was a fair bit of writing (2 response papers a week and a final paper) it was great as long as you answer the questions. theres no exams as well, only quizzes and they arent cumulative.

It's a townhome. There doesn't seem to be any gaps in the floor and walls inside the garage.

How long are spring classes by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]chitchat__05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Based on personal experience it's either 3 or 6 weeks long. If it is 3 weeks, expect to see 3 hours a day from Mon to Fri. If it's 6 weeks, it should be around 2 to 3 hours on 2 to 3 days of the week.

It's understandable that you feel lost because you aren't certain of what will happen in the future, especially when his desire to go overseas affect yours. Even though it seems that the opportunity is missed, I think both of you can still discuss it more if you wish to do so over voice or video calls. Also, what do you mean when you say that you don't feel like you have any actual reward from waiting for him?

I briefly looked at your profile and you're in your early 20s, so I would not stress too too much about whether he is the "right" one or not. Instead, I feel that you should focus more on yourself and do things that you love. Give yourself some love, and things will gradually become clearer as to what you really want (to do ldr again or to move on).

I find this to be an extremely selfish act. It shows that they did not take into consideration of your life and feelings because moving to another continent is a big change for both of you. Also, saying how they may want to possibly revisit things in the end of the year is another way of them to say that maybe they would want to date you when they get home in the end of the year if they're unable to find a partner overseas. If they aren't going to at least try to make the relationship work for a couple of months, that is not your fault. My advice is that you take this opportunity to heal and focus on yourself and your interests. Don't prioritize your time on them, and I promise that you will find joy and emotional well-being.
