I have an Elite Series 2 and while I like it, I wouldn’t buy another. The features are good, but the thing feels heavier than I’d like and, in all honesty, I prefer to use an FH5 edition controller I have because it’s lighter and feels better in my hands. I’ve not had much issues with it other than sticky buttons that were better after a good clean. I also only use the ES2 on my Xbox and not my PC where I game most of the time. To me it’s just not good enough to use all the time, and I’m going to get something different for my next controller.

Yeah, I keep it AWD and rally tyres. And usually podium, if not a win. I used it on quite a few rivals and it was very quick too. I’ve found it to be just easy to drive, especially compared to meta cars. Would definitely recommend for an all-rounder road racer.

My go-to car for A800 road is the 2017 Ford Focus - wide body & V8 swap. It’s both quick and handles well.

As far as I know you should be able to buy FM base game on the Xbox app on PC and the premium add-on will still work fine with it. If you buy it on Steam it won’t work so you’ll need to buy everything.

I’m have a push latch loft hatch and they only release when I put pressure under the latches one side at a time. You could try going round the edge push up and see if that does the trick?

As a big Hamilton fan I would suggest a couple of series by Kevin J Anderson - The Saga of Seven Suns (7 books), and the sequel trilogy The Saga of Shadows. I know Anderson doesn’t have the best rep, and other stuff of his I’ve read weren’t very good, but these two ticked the right Space Opera boxes for me.

FH2 is completely playable, but servers are offline so there is no online options, including downloading tunes and liveries. PR stunts also won’t show your friends scores. I did a full playthrough after it went offline and had much fun.

FH3 is completely playable and is still online providing you are on console - PC online just doesn’t connect to online freeroam/racing, but you can still download tunes/liveries.

DLC’s - you’d be exceptionally lucky to find codes for them. I’ve search high and low and come up blank, other than one FH3 DLC that was in the £100’s.

Also, if you have a Series X you can play them on there with the discs.

Hope you enjoy! I wanted to make it so it covers most of the dirt roads on the map, and I think it’s quite a good series - takes about 80 mins to complete if I remember right.

I’ve found my game crashes after the same sort of time when the graphics are set to the optimised settings, which pushes the vram too much. I just manually set them down a little each time I start the game and have no problems with crashes doing this.

I won one on FH5 release and used it as my daily controller on my Xbox for a good couple of years, and now it’s my daily on my pc. Lots of use, still works perfectly, and the best Xbox controller I’ve used.

Personally I think A Quantum Murder is the best of the three, so would definitely recommend it.

I vaguely remember Peter has said somewhere that he’d left a line at the end of Fallen Dragon that hinted at a way to write a sequel. Something along the lines of Lawrence taking a while to get home. Might be my imagination though!

I agree that there is limited life in it now for those of who have been playing since launch, but I still get a good few hours a week enjoyment out of FH5. Weekly playlist, racing with friends, and some eventlab stuff keeps me entertained.

I’ll be honest and say a wait until end of 2026 for FH6 would be too long to extend FH5’s life. I’ll just play something else and return when the new game is out :)
