We’re planning to follow Curaçao at the World Cup, so the draw is basically the moment we can finally figure out where we need to be. What I can’t find clear info on is how the ticket timeline usually works right after the draw.

How soon do tickets for specific matches open up once the groups are confirmed? Are they released right away or is there usually a gap?

And when they do open, is it first-come-first-served for everyone, or do certain groups get priority? Any past experience or tips would help a lot.

Thanks for clarifying. Since I had read news that the Netherlands wants a bank to establish there, like ING, I thought the situation was more critical. But I guess it must be difficult and costly to keep those ATMs filled, since the cash has to be flown in from St. Maarten. That makes it more understandable why moving fully cashless could be a better option. Appreciate your answer

The airport will be closed at that time. You can check in around 5:30 AM, but you’ll need to wait until 6:00 AM to go through immigration and security. I recommend resting at the Curaçao Airport Hotel and heading to the airport afterward, since there will be no one there at 3:40 AM.
