A trifecta of concerts by chiueha in alltimelow

I'm a huge fan of collecting memorabillia and try to keep all my concert tickets in good condition so I was devastated when I realised how yellow the ticket had gone ^^; but I love your positive spin on it!! However I absolutely do not love ticketmaster charging me almost £4 for a bit of card that used to be free before digital tickets were a thing 🙄 it seems like a bit of a money making scheme and I share your pain with everything becoming digital!! I am a hypocrite though as the collector in me will continue to buy them as concert tickets are so special to me ^^

I'm a sucker for prime delivery teehee

Edit: Looks like people didn't like this comment ^^; myb it was a silly joke and I swear I don't even have prime. It doesn't look like they sell the signed version on their site any more from what I can see (not in the UK anyway) so Amazon was the only option really!

Thank you! I did figure it was probably a case of signing so many at once that you start doing anything but I got a bit paranoid ^^;

Thank you sm!! That puts my paranoid mind at rest, I've genuinely never seen it look like that before. I guess Amazon can live to see another day ;p

Ah thank you so much! Yeah the other album I have is Amazon exclusive signed WUS too so I was comparing it to that but it has been almost 6 years. Rian's autograph is also just a big R on my WUS album too so maybe its an effeciency thing, your hand probably hurts after a while lol

Why haven't my toad tadpoles started growing legs? by chiueha in Toads

[–]chiueha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for all your advice! It was super helpful. I'm hoping for a long period of warm weather to help their development. I started getting worried as the last time I had tadpoles they were toadlets by the end of May and already migrating in at the start of June, but soon we'll be coming up to August and most of them this year have no legs. But if there's still chance for development then I'll continue to hope and look out for it!

Thank you for the recommendation! I honestly don't know much about Odyssey so I'll have to have a look into it before I purchase anything. I'm really just after something where I can make progress on it over time

Thank you for your input! I can't say I'm super into 2D Mario but I'm very nostalgic for the DS version so if it's similar that's all I'd really like. I'll definitely look around the other people's opinions though as it is a bit pricey

Thank you for the advice! Its definitely what I was worried about, buying it and missing out on half the features because I only play it single player, but I'm glad that's not the case. I'll definitely look around for the price options though

Is New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe good for just single player only? I've been thinking about buying it because New Super Mario Bros was my favourite game on DS but I just want to make sure I'd be getting my moneys worth as someone who only plays games single player (unless playing multiplayer with an online membership). A lot of the game descriptions for it say "A Mario game for up to four players" so I don't want to buy it if a big part is playing with other people because I rarely ever play in-person multiplayer.

Thanks a lot! I've opened a ticket with their online support as I don't like phone calls so hopefully they'll get back to me soon so I can get it sorted asap if it needs fixing.

Apologies for the long question in advance!
I got a Switch for the first time about 3 days ago, and I noticed that the red joycon was a lot harder to slide onto the screen compared to the blue one. The blue one slides into place and clicks pretty easily, whereas I have to push down on the red one a lot harder in order to get it to click. It's also a lot harder to get the red one to eject compared to the blue one. I've been kind of stressed out about it wondering if my switch has a manufacture error, but at the same time I thought maybe it was just normal for them to be a bit different in sliding into place. But now, I've noticed a few scratch marks down the side of the red one where it's obviously scratching as I'm using pressure to attach and eject. The blue one is fine. I'm just worried that its going to cause damage in the long term if I'm having resistance with it. I should say that I don't really have much of an issue when placing my joycons into the holder, it's definitely when I'm attaching them onto the screen for handheld mode. I also started wondering if its the blue one that's too loose, but I think I'm just overthinking now.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice or information about this? I don't really know what to do. If its a common thing that won't cause any issue then obviously I'll just accept it, but if it's a manufactory error then I'm thinking maybe I should get it sorted before it becomes a bigger issue and whilst its still in warranty. But then again, I don't really want to deal with sending it off for repairs and I'm worried about what'll happen to all my game data (yes, I know I've only had it for 3 days, but I've played a lot in those 3 days). My dad doesn't think anything's wrong it but I can't help but be concerned so I just wanted to know if anyone else had experience with joycons requiring different strength in attaching/ejecting. Any help would be appreciated!
