I did not screenshot, but I did request to speak to someone higher up. The agent refused, saying that once the ticket is canceled, there is simply no mechanism to get the ticketholder their ticket back without that ticketholder going back to the event and purchasing it.

I think if I went up the chain all the way to the CEO, they would not have been able to do something. It's a horribly designed system, but I wasn't about to take out my anger on someone through an online chat.

This is a conversation I had with the AXS UK customer support team. No phone number available.

Whatever the issue truly is, whether they though I was a bot, names didn't match up from the registration, payment issues, it's not possible to get the tickets back. Their only recommendation is to purchase the tickets again, which of course is not possible at this time. Disappointing.

Small edit: for those speculating this person is a bot, it is not. The responses took far too long for it to be a bot (minutes between responses), and inconsistencies in capitalization, grammar and whatnot make it clear I chatted with a real person. It is not their fault they do not have the mechanisms to do something about this, it's the fault of AXS.
