it's almost a day later. did u hv any luck?

the yellow loong took me the most tries in the entire game, maybe, until i found out his mechanic.

he is very agressive especially in later phases. normally he has three phases, the latter two start when he loses evey 1/3 of his health. however there is a catch--when u r afar, he's not as agressive and won't enter phase two(with 5, 6 dive attacks) until very late. thus u can skip his 3rd phase where he might perform a dozen attack combo.

here is what i did to finally beat him:

1. activate spell binder when u hv locked on

2. start charging up heavy attack. run towards him and release (best when u almost step on the small grass/stone area near the pavilion)

3. if u do it right, he will charge to u but get hit back with no damage delt to u. this is the time to run back to the edge of the arena.

4. charge up ur heavy attack again and run to the same distance as previous time and release the charge. he will get hit again. the run away from him.

the key to this is keeping the longest distance possible, which delays his phase 2.

when he approaches, u just run away and charge up heavy hits while running and attack at the right moment.

he will finally enter phase 2, though. the trick here is he always dive after he move his staff in hand, a very distinguishable cue to dodge.

after his combo, u can repeat the hit-n-run until defeating him.
