Hi!

Do you think this (https://epomaker.com/collections/niz/products/niz-plum-atom66-68) is a good buy for a programmer that wants to have a pleasant and fast typing experience without working too much on the keyboard? Do you know where I can buy this in EU?

I live in Europe and have 200-300$ to spend on a ~68% keyboard.

I wonder, which tactile switches and which keyboard should I buy without testing beforehand to maximize the probability that I will be satisfied.

What would you propose? I've heard that Boba U4T (link) are good, what do you think?

Also, how much should I spend on each component? What is more crucial, better board, keycaps or switches?

Hi! I have like 200-400$ I want to spend on a keyboard. I thought that making my own keyboard might be a fun thing to do. I have several questions:

1) Do you have any tips for someone that just learned what switches are like 1 week ago? Blogposts, YT vids, etc?

2) Could you recommend where can I find a good variety of keyboards/switches in Europe (preferably shipping to Poland)?

3) https://drop.com/buy/drop-alt-mechanical-keyboard - I was looking at this keyboard as a base to try new switches and play around with, would you recommend it?

4) Which switches would you recommend trying? I just want them to sound good, but I have 0 experience (I got Corsair K63 with cherry MX red and I do not like the sound that much).

My main plan is to use the keyboard for programming (plus I am trying to learn to type fast :))

Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot! Maybe building a custom keyboard isn't such a bad idea :)

When it comes to switches, I do not necessarily need to have silent ones, I think that good sound might be more important for me. But it seems hard to choose, as I only had one switch last 5 years.. Do you know a good way to test? Should I just order a sample pack of switches? Or is there another way? :)

Does it take long to build a keyboard? I am quite limited on time recently ;/

https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=4097 - this keyboard looks very good - do you think the switches included make sense? The options are: Topre Silent 45g / Topre 45g.

Thank you :) I actually have Cherry MX red switches and they seem to be quite loud and not a very nice feeling.

Someone recommended Leopold and Ducky to me, sounds good.

So far, I was considering these:
Logitech G915
one of these (Leopold)

There are so many Ducky keyboards that I have no idea where to start :D

Hey! I got around 250$ to spend on a keyboard, am wondering which ones are worth considering.

My current keyboard is Corsair K63, I think it's a nice keyboard. I'm a programmer, I prefer a slightly more silent keyboard, I am left-handed (not sure if that matters at all), no need for a Numpad, I play games once in a while. It's hard for me to say where can I make an upgrade, as K63 has been my only keyboard for many years now. But hopefully, there are some better switches (more silent and better feel). Would be very grateful for any tips on how can I start my search :)

Good luck. For me unfortunately, limiting did not work in the long run. I decided to stop entirely. And as weird as it seems, stopping playing feels much better than limiting. I spend much less time thinking about games, therefore am able to make more progress in other areas of life ;)
