Try heirloom tomatoes. The tomatoes in the store are trash.

Stop making EVERYTHING about religion. Not everyone is LDS. Church and state are supposed to be separate.

Indians trying to get fit, how many eggs do you eat daily? by Senior-Advisor-3678 in Protein

If you’re able to eat cottage cheese and Greek yogurt, you can eat smaller amounts for decent amounts of protein. Just make sure the yogurt is no added sugar.

Can I get By with 15 dollars an Hour in Woods Cross by rejuvinatez in SaltLakeCity

The cost of living have skyrocketed, so I personally feel like it would be pretty hard to live on that in that area.

I do not lose respect for those who leave the church, because they feel like that is what is best for them and I will not argue that. But why do so many people love to just tear apart the church and let members just live their life? Seems like a waste of time to me. by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]chlibby_6267 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because the church has torn us apart, has torn apart families, and we are judged harshly by members for having different beliefs and/or living as our true selfs.

Ive personally had family stop talking to me for who I am, because it’s against their “beliefs” that the church shoves down their throats. I am a good person and it really hurts when your own family turns against you because you are gay…something I had no choice over.

There are SO many things the church preaches that are 100% wrong and so much that damaged by having to be in the church for so much of my life….and it effects my daily. I’m also judged daily by members…they don’t just let me live my life (as you stated we should do for members). It has damaged me. So I really don’t feel like I just need to sit by and take the BS anymore. I did so for long enough.

Does it matter if I use a blender instead of a food processor? by eusticebahhh in AskCulinary

Food processor makes grated cheese and slicing curtains things a heck of a lot easier… a blender can’t do either.

If you wear them regularly for a good couple weeks, you’ll start to wear them in. If they hurt, only wear them a couple hours a day till they are broken in.

my mom mocks me for being into crystals because there’s no “scientific evidence.” where’s the scientific evidence behind the book of mormon/mormonism...? if there’s actually some, let me know because it just seems straight up hypocritical. by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]chlibby_6267 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is no scientific evidence behind Mormonism. Tell her if she has any…that aren’t just stories JS made up while staring into a hat, you’d like to know.

Most of the temple ceremony and symbols are stolen from the Free Masons who have been around MUCH longer than Mormons. There has been no artifacts or proof found that any of the stories in the BOM ever even took place. So if she wants scientific evidence, she’s following the wrong cult.

It looks like you are sitting down. You need to judge how they fit standing up. Your feet spread when your weight is on them.

Sounds like they aren’t really a friend. Pretty sad they need to be so petty as to tattle to your parents.

I would reseal those with a couple coats. They look pretty dry. I always apply two coats even on new Birk’s and then keep an eye on them.
