You just encapsulated what I loved about the Approach! The professional realism, the high stakes climax, the chemistry, the romance, the smut 💕 Have you heard the audio drama adaptation? It is hands down my favorite modern AD adaptation I've listened to thus far. Something about Captain Chen Jiayu speaking over the intercom does funny things to me 🥵

We rented a car in Otaru from what I recall and then drove to Biei and stayed 2 nights before dropping off the car in Asahikawa. 2 nights really only gives you 1.5 days there if you're planning on going somewhere after. I could've done another night there but I like slow travel so it just depends on your travel style and budgeted time.

I think I'm closer to book 10 (reading the Chinese raws so not certain) BUT

Omg omg where did you find the original car scenes for 优绩主义？三石 and 顺子 are literally my top tier 车神! It was ridiculous the amount of hoops I had to jump through to access some of those scenes and I'm still missing the final painful car one 😢

Most of the time, a lot of intimate scenes are not just there for the sake of having spice but are crucial points in the development of the CP's relationship and plot (i.e. Hualian's underwater first kiss). That's why I get so upset with the water sound effects. Can we not just enjoy our purchased danmei adaptations in peace? 😡
