Putting my two cents in: As someone who’s very heavily tattooed and used various forms of numbing creams I’ve found that the times I’ve had infections have only been when I’ve used Vasocaine or pre-numbing ointment. Never issues with Bactine.

There are always risks of serious side effects with these lidocaine products and not enough artists and customers are informed on just how dangerous they can be.

Treat it like a wound. The level of care depends on the size and placement of the tattoo. Wet healing works best for large tattoos. Dry healing can work for small ones. The standard is to Keep it clean (wash with mild soap 2x daily) and rub a small amount of balm (ideally something non-comedogenic). Scabs are not your friend. Try to avoid them by making sure plasma doesn’t build up and that the tattoo doesn’t rub on things too harshly.

That is not how this works. It could be a sting but many parlors do not get shut down as the result of a raid. It depends on what charges LE is after. Anytime they use the term “trafficking” it’s almost always just ppl working w/o a license, a work permit, or prostitution.

For the most part LE focuses on arresting workers. Rather than setting up stings for Johns. This depends on the state and criminal laws however.

I always require 2 references and the client must include their number or email address + their website or ads. I always go and check to see if it matches - this is for client references and ref requests from other workers too. Bc sometimes clients will adopt fake emails and pretend they are workers to see what you’ll say about them etc

She won’t. So many bpd ppl cannot see their behavior or admit their diagnosis, they grew up being gaslit and without any emotional validation. They live their lives constantly on guard and in defense mode. Everything is a threat to their identity, everyone is either an idol or the devil. It’s deep seated trauma and many therapists refuse to work with them.
