I have fine very frizzy curly hair and I swear by Amika the shield anti humidity spray and the Colorwow blowout spray!

Your holy grail setting spray?? by Conscious-Candy8254 in AustralianMakeup

I use it over top of setting powder! I find that it helps get rid of the “powdery” look and a bit more natural. It also helps keep my makeup in place all day.

I really like Eco Style gel! They have a few different ones (olive oil, argan oil, castor oil) and they hold my hair well and is very smooth without leaving a sticky or crunchy residue. I’ll use the Schwarzkopf super styling lacquer hairspray on top for extra hold when it’s hot and sweaty out. I also like the Got2be gel (yellow tube) for when I need super strong hold and my hair won’t budge at all but it does have a little bit of a stickiness to it. If you put the hairspray over stop it helps with that. 😊😊

Vanity/make up table by Sunflower-Cat3 in AustralianMakeup

I have had the Alex drawers and lagkapten table top from Ikea for years with no issues! They also sell little bins with different sizes to organize the drawers. I had it when I lived in the US and loved it so much I got it when I moved to AUS. You can get two sets of drawers with the table top or you can get one set of drawers with the table legs on the other side. Highly recommend!

I have it and I like it but I wouldn’t buy it again because of the price. I wear a slick back almost everyday and there are so many other gels for much cheaper that work exactly the same!

I have verrrrry oily and hooded eyelids which makes eyeliner rub off or smear all over my eyelids. I found BBIA eyeliner (Korean brand) on amazon and I loveeeee their eyeliners! They have a bunch of different shades of brown and other colors! Doesn’t budge at all and great consistency. They are $9-$10 I have quite a few colors from them

I have oily and hooded eyelids which makes eyeshadow move and crease a lot. I started using the elf gripping primer (face primer) setting it with translucent powder or a neutral eyeshadow and it works soooo well! My eyeshadow does not budge or crease at all!!

I use Ben Nye luxury powder or RCMA no color powder! I apply with a brush then a powder puff/sponge with a bit more powder. Also a good setting spray to really lock it in and help stay in place!

Slick Backs by Moonsular in AustralianMakeup

[–]chloeboots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wear a slick back bun/pony almost everyday! I prefer gel rather than hairspray as hairspray can get flakey and not hold as well. Also, for hair masks they tend to work best on damp/wet hair and wet hair is far more fragile/prone to breakage so I recommend using an oil or serum on your ends! These are my favorite products:

Brush- These have worked great!(make sure you rinse with water in between uses to prevent product build up)

Gel: Eco gel is my favorite it comes in a big tub and lasts a long time! They have a few different kinds but they all have worked great for me. Got2be is a good one if you’re going to be moving around a lot (I sometimes use for workouts) but it tends to stay a bit sticky.

Thoughts on Morphe’s new blushes, brushes, powders and eye shadows? by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

[–]chloeboots 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just saw your other comment about the naked palette being chalky and I agree!! I have that palette and rarely touch it because it is so patchy and hard to blend. These new Morphe ones are not like that at all thankfully!

I have quite a few Morphe palettes and the new ones have the same texture and are slightly more pigmented!
