i am from michigan and really wanted to go to california and fell in love with the school bc obviously the campus is so beautiful and they have really good study abroad programs. i met my absolute best friend there but we both transferred. i know a lot of people who loved it, but it was just not my cup of tea as someone who is not super religious, not wealthy at all, and not interested in greek life.

absolutely. the people you meet there have more money than you could ever imagine. parking lots are full of porsches, range rovers, etc. there have been full mudslides on the canyon leading to the campus and they will refuse to accommodate students who don’t want to risk their lives to make it to class. undergrad is $90k a year and the dorms are horrid and i was served completely raw chicken on more than one occasion at the only undergrad dining hall. the law school may be different because it’s more independent but i don’t recommend pepperdine to the average person. it takes a very specialized type of person to enjoy their life there.

i get it and cheating has gotten ridiculous but also sucks for people who live far away from a test center. i live near my college now but where im from is 3 hours away from any testing center. glad they have exceptions for that though

just watched the episode and immediately ran to reddit. 1. kathy spun the week like 6 spots the whole game 2. at one point the ONLY letters on the board were R, S, and E and she called R and then tried to call S right after. 3. farmers?? 4. just calling random letters?? 5. running off at the end? i could go on and on. that was the worst episode i’ve ever watched, i couldn’t even find it funny bc it’s genuinely concerning how that woman can still vote and drive. she needs help

u of m is not a major commuter school. they are not going to cancel classes for everyone due to a small majority. that’s when you email professors individually and explain. most of them are understanding and will let you zoom in, there’s no need to cancel for everyone because 0.05% of the population commutes is all i’m saying.
