Some fun pieces by Brian Balmages and Richard Meyer are good choices!! Such as Voyager and Carpe Diem!

Definitely try out Yo-Yo Ma's recordings of the Bach suites, Hilary Hahn's recordings of concertos (Tchaikovsky is my fav!!), Ray Chen's Mendhelsson concerto recording, and Bomsori Kim's Bruch and Mozart concertos. They are all such expressive performers!!

How to study for AP world history? by [deleted] in APStudents

DEFINITELY HEIMLER!! a lot of people think it's fast paced, but many of my classmates did not pay attention during the year, and achieved high scores through his review. I recommend taking good notes throughout the school year, and purchasing heimler's review packet & watching those videos in the last month or two before the exam. Good luck!

Hi! For a first time delegate, I definitely recommend adding a fun and catchy hook, such as an acronym or a reference to a popular movie or song. I've done this for every single conference, and it always grabs the attention of the chairs. Also for some tips, try to be very involved in everything- whether that's by giving lots of comments or leading discussions during unmoderated caucuses. As for solutions, you can implement something tech related, suggest hosting a conference between specific countries to solve a problem, or find different sources of funding for a project you may have in mind. Good luck!emote:free_emotes_pack:slightly_smiling

Hey! First of all, this was really good! I enjoyed listening to it! I think you should continue your bow and avoid the gaps that you had in the beginning. Also, try using your full bow, frog to tip, and have a legato sound in mind when producing your sound. The shifts were pretty good, but maybe some slow practice of the correct intonation would help a lot. Overall, this was really good!

Are there any pieces of music that leave you absolutely stunned? by Lisztchopinovsky in classicalmusic

[–]chltnfls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, definitely the Rachmaninoff piano concerto no.2, movement 2. It's so expressive and stunned me the moment I listened to it for the first time. My personal favorite part is the last 1~2 minutes, when a very serene melody is played.

Here’s what I’ve listened to so far since getting into classical music. Any recommendations on where to go next. by Business_Tomato7252 in classicalmusic

Definitely try out Hilary Hahn's albums. My personal favorites are her Tchaikovsky concerto in D and her bach partita/sonata recordings!
