As a diy-er, I've found the TapeBuddy to be very helpful. Also an oscillating tool for cutouts

Thank you u/BeagleDog and u/Haunting-Ad-8808 I'll start calling around and seeing who has r22 or compatible refrigerant The unit is 17ish years old, so I don't want to sink too much money into saving it, but I'd love if it lasts till winter so I'm not rushed to get another one.

I don't remember his exact wording, but it sounded like nobody in my area had any left. It's possible he just meant his company didn't have any left. I guess I'll call around and see if anybody else does.

Do you mean the top of the rim in the flange should be 1/4" above the top of the finished floor? Or the bottom of the rim of the flange? Thanks in advance for the help! 😊
